She Danced Professionally, Became a Mom, and Then Built a Creative World for Both.
Tiffany Monique went from performing with the Miami Heat to raising two kids in Charlotte — and somewhere in between, she built something the whole community can enjoy.
When we say Tiffany Creative Collective is bringing something special to Charlotte, we mean it. A former professional dancer turned mom of two is building a full creative brand — youth programs, enrichment camps, community events, performances and heels classes — right in the middle of the most beautifully chaotic season of her life.
FROM THE COURT TO THE CLASSROOM
Before she was a Charlotte mom running a business, Tiffany was a professional dancer performing with the Miami Heat, touring, living the life she'd dreamed about since she was a little girl. But it was what came next that shaped everything.
She built a youth dance program in Miami. Not your typical recital-and-plié setup. It was a real, creative space where kids could develop something. And watching what happened when young people were given that kind of room to grow never left her.
Then COVID hit. She moved back to North Carolina. And motherhood arrived all at once, nothing held back.
"Motherhood hit me all at once — exhausting, chaotic — but it's the most joyful thing ever. The love is unreal. The patience it's taught me is priceless."
THE TINY BOSS AND THE REALIST
Tiffany is raising two daughters: a nine-year-old she calls her realist ("she keeps me aligned at allllll times — especially when I cook or choose an outfit") and a one-year-old who is, without question, running the household. Time that used to be hers now belongs to school pickups, bedtime routines, and appointments.
She didn't see any of it coming. And she wouldn't trade it for anything.
But here's what Tiffany knew, even in the thick of it: the vision she'd been carrying since Miami wasn't gone. It just needed a new shape.
BUILDING TIFFANY CREATIVE COLLECTIVE
Tiffany Creative Collective is her Charlotte-based creative brand; it has something for everyone. Youth programs for the kids. Enrichment camps. Curated community events. Performance bookings through her dance team, The Headliners. And for the moms: a Thursday night heels class called "Tease" that is beginner-friendly, no experience needed, and keeps hitting double digits every single week.
This year she is making big moves. She filed her LLC for Tiffany Creative Collective. Little Groove Lab, a creative movement program for the little ones, launches this spring at Grow Cafe on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. All-Star Energy Camp is open for inquiries now. And this week, she finally set a real schedule that gives her dedicated time for herself, the business, and her kids. She's sticking to it.
"I wanted to create spaces where moms feel supported and reminded that they don't have to lose themselves in motherhood. Honeyyy — I have grown myself."
WHAT SHE KNOWS NOW
Tiffany didn't wait for things to slow down before building. She built in the chaos, with a tiny boss on her hip and a realist critiquing every decision. The Thursday night room keeps filling up because what she's offering is real and fun — the ladies can feel it.
She's not just running a dance business; it’s a creative hub. She's making space for kids to create, for moms to breathe, and for a community to show up together. That's Tiffany Creative Collective. And it's just getting started.
